This will begin a monthly series on TeenBusinessForum where we will select one member to feature who is growing as an entrepreneur.  This month, we have Robb.   

Robb won our contest a few months back when he created this design for the next TeenBusinessForum t-shirt.  He’s also done numerous work drawing cartoons of people on Fiverr.com. 

Who are you and where are you from?

My name is Don Robb, I am an artist, and I am from the Cleveland, Ohio area.

 

What would you say is your most marketable skill?

My most marketable skill is probably my ability to design and illustrate.  I work in both 2D and 3D.

 

Why did you decide to learn about business?

I’m interested in business in the sense that I need to learn to market myself better, and make my skills more profitable.

 

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

I would start a video game design company.  I like how games can bring together hundreds of art assets into one experience.  I’m also fascinated with computer programming, although I’m not very good at it.

 

What project or projects are you currently working on?

Right now I am animating a cartoon.  It’s a commercial for a horse medicine applicator. Seriously!

 

What made you decide to check out TBF?  What do you think should be improved about it?

I believe you made me check out TBF Jack!  I received an email from you after I made a cartoon for someone in the community, and I have drawn avatars/cartoons for several people at TBF since. Thanks!  TBF is a great networking resource.
Looking at TBF from my perspective, the only improvement I can think of is maybe having a business "wiki."  An organization of common information made by the community. Just a thought!
