EBook Review- Make Money On Fiverr

Make money Fiverr

There’s a lot of talk recently about the site Fiverr.  People are either outsourcing tasks on it, or making money by doing tasks.  A while back, Martin Njounkwe wrote an ebook on how to make money on Fiverr.  He’s been making money on that site for some time and wanted to share his experiences.  The medium he chose to do that is through an ebook and he asked me to review it.  What follows is a very objective review of that ebook, even though Martin is a member of this very business forum.  There are no affiliate links whatsoever.  But I have to say that his Fiverr task does bring in money.  The proof was when I asked him to build TeenBusinessForum’s twitter list and he did, very very quickly.

The Content

The content in the eBook is specific to Martin’s experience with his task of helping people get followers on Twitter.  He explains that the most important things to do on Fiverr is to find creative ways to market your task, instead of doing a task well.  That makes sense.  If you look on Fiverr, there’s a huge number of people who can do the task of “gaining followers on Twitter” but only a few of them make it to the top of the search.  All of them are probably equally qualified to do the task but it’s always the one who markets their services the best that get the job.  Martin uses his task as an example for why his marketing techniques work.  These techniques can be applied to anyone else and their tasks.

Most Important Concept

The most important thing Martin explains is how he markets his task on Twitter.  I know very few people actually use Twitter, and so very few people use this marketing tactic.  He uses multiple accounts on Twitter and sets up automatic keyword replies.  What this means is that if someone, anyone in Twitter writes the following message “Hey man, how do you have so many Twitter followers”, one of Martin’s reply campaigns can pick this up, and reply with “Hey, I can help you increase your Twitter followers” and a link to the Fiverr task.  This works because the response is relevant.  Maybe out of 1000 people who type that message, 10 will click the link.  And out of 10 that click the link, maybe 1 will buy.  For other tasks, the reply campaign is different.  The concept is the same and it works.  Find people talking about a topic related to the task and introduce yourself and ask how you can help.

What Can Be Improved

I believe the setting up of multiple Twitter accounts can be explained further.  For example, do all the accounts follow the same people?  I believe the multiple accounts is to get a further reach of targeted users but how do you ensure that there are no overlaps?  An updated edition would be greatly appreciated once Martin finds better and faster ways to market tasks on Fiverr.
