Have anyone heard of ASP.Net? if so how easy is it to use, would you recommend using it?

Sure I heard of it. Umm... people are either .NET developers or Java developers. I'm a Java guy so I recommend staying away, haha. I don't like the web servers that you need to start .NET applications. I like Tomcat for Java instead. I don't like Microsoft programming tools as much as I like Opensource.

I would say it's not easy to get into. There are entire college courses dedicated to learning the language.

If you want to learn it, I recommend taking it at a community college. You'll learn all the fundamentals.

If you want to learn a programming language then i suggest starting off with Php as it covers most ideas of programming and you can use it more as a beginner. Once you know 1 language then you can move off to others quite easily.
