Default Creating E-Commerce Site

Hey everyone,
Wanted to know what you use to create an e-commerce site? Do you use Wordpress and add in shopping cart plugins? Do you use the Yahoo e-commerce store website?

Well, I myself have never created one, but I've looked into it, and I would either use something like Joomla!, Drupal, or Wordpress.

I'd use actual e-commerce scripts like Magento or something similar.

Your other options are simply content management systems, with plug-ins for e-commerce.

What will be the use?

Oscommers is the best. I used it before and have it on my web hosting as an easy install script.

Are they free? I need to do a workshop next Saturday to teach students how to make an e-commerce website.

Oscommerce is the most widely used one and the easiest to set up as an ecommerce website. CubeCart and Zen Cart are pretty big too. Ive had a few ecommerce websites before and ive always gone with the most simple ones as ive always heavily modified them but for someone who doesnt know web development then Oscommerce is the one to go with.

Its been a while since ive had them. With my ebay selling i put the items in the shopping cart. I also have modified them to not be a shopping cart but just be a database which i used as the engine for learnerlegalbikes.com at first and then i changed the engine behind that. Also when i first got into drop shipping i used them.
