I am studying programming and web design in a local university. I wonder if anyone can help me with my homework. I must build an eCommerce site, upload it and get some traffic in around a month. Any ideas on what I should include to increase the traffic? Where can I find someone to collaborate with me and maybe we can build the web’s next big hit. Thanks.

You could purchase traffic or try to build links towards your site - but basically - visitors aren't free.

If its for uni, and you're not actually studying marketing/business, you should be fine with minimal traffic. Just build the site nice and clean, make it work well, have some useful product and a reason for people to buy from you, put a link in your forum signature, etc...

Also, just in general, when dealing with e-commerce, especially a non-commercial package, pay A LOT of attention to security.
