Default Latest hosting design

Hey guys, i created a design for a hosting company not long ago and thought i should get your opinions on it, give me good or bad feedback on it since ive already sold it to the client so i dont really care whats said about it now.

www.strikedata.com
if that website doesnt work since sometimes it seems to not work then you can see the original design at www.sizeofpaper.com/project

The design isn't bad - I like the green and orange theme. However, you have to consider that the green and orange may give it a connotation of being less "professional".

However, here are some things that I've noticed:
  • "Read More" and "Order Now" buttons are kind of out of place with the red.
  • "Hot Deals" seems like a old thing - the flaming text is very retro styling.
  • Strike Data should have a logo?
  • The VPS image is hard to distinguish
  • Right side column has a good border, but it disappears as the background turns from green to white.
  • Absence of padding of the image to the left to the "Content Goes Here Content Goes Here"

I dont like the colors but they are the colors the client told me to use. He wanted something like the hot deals button, that was just prototype and he liked it so much that i just left it, no point changing something that the client likes.
The read more/order now buttons are different colors now, they change to a lighter green now. I just havent updated it on the site.
I didnt create them a logo, they are adding their own logo to it.
I do agree with the VPS, it was more of a place holder and i forgot to change it and now its a bit too late to change it.
Client didnt want a border around the right side.
And finally, i have padding on the image next to content and from what ive seen on the clients screenshots so does he, every computer ive checked it on the padding is there i think, i havent not noticed it there.

Overall i dont like the design all that much, i like parts of it but i dont think it all goes together but i was told to make a clone of another website with some changes so thats what i did.

ooo you have shown me a few other mistakes which show on your computer. Im not sure if i fixed that white lines problem in the final version or not, oh well, the client hasnt complained about them so its all good. And i see what you mean by the picture. Yeah i guess it would have looked better if it was indented a bit

Hmm...The white line problem only shows up in IE7 on Vista.

I also noticed there's a black border around the entire layout (as in 600px wide and down the whole page, or whatever) in Firefox, but it doesn't show up in Firefox 3 Beta on Vista.

Maybe you want to fix some W3 Validation errors? I got 53 errors when I checked.
