Default questions about "wordpress"?
1. Is it only blogging software, or can it be used to create websites?

two. Is it easy to update the content on the site with wordpress?

3. Is it easy to learn, like would I be able to use it to build a website on my own?

4. Do you buy the program, or download it for free?

1) I think it is only blogging software. You want a CMS(Content Management System). I can help you with them if you want.

2 or two) Updating from my understanding is very easy. If you can use a desktop operating system and open/save a document with something like wordpad then you can use wordpress.

3) It is easy to learn and use to make your blogging site.

4) The program is free and requires a install on your own server. If you need help with that ask me. I can help.

Wordpress is actually amazing for making websites, you don't have to use it as a blog it can be a news website or anything! Its very multi functional and there is lots of plugins,

It is incredibly easy to install and most hosting control panels come with a option to install it now!

Could the poster maybe expand on whether Wordpress was sufficient or could we suggest the likes of Joomla or Mambo? (Google them)

I think them CMS's are pretty crap in all honestly word press works much better!
