Post Webdesign In Photoshop.

I wanted to know what people think of making FULL websites in photoshop. Such as all the graphics, texts etc... Then slicing.

What are your opinions, can you do the same things as you would when you do it by HTML.

So what are the disadvantages/advantages if any.

Thanks, Chuck.

You still WILL need to edit the pages code, you cant set a title for a page in Photoshop for example. Plus with programs like Dreamweaver it writes the majority of the code for you anyway.

Complete websites are really bad for seo. The words wont be picked up with search engines so your website is harder to find. Im all for designing an entire website in photoshop but if you want a successful website then you definetly need to type out the text with html meaning you need to do some layout coding with either html or css.

The GigaNu website looks very clean, i like the black background, and the shiny effect looks realy stylish.

Klaja26: Can this be done with dreamweave because i did do a week web design course, and know just the very basics.

GigaNu was designed in photoshop, but as Josh said, search engines wont be able to read text in images! So do that in html!
