As someone who has suffered from On/Off Depression in the past I can relate. The part about wanting to be saved was true, you don't tell anyone you are depressed (for some reason its just hard) but deep down you want your friends and family to know and save you.

Not counting 2 weeks ago its been over a year since depression has bothered me (2 weeks ago I had to flu which caused depression to come back since I was feeling faguited and drained all the time).

Thank you so much for this post, it has really helped.
Recently I was told I could take part in this service that I really believe in and want to help but at the last minute I was told to wait.
Although it's hardly a problem it made me really depressed as I am thinking that everything I have worked to achieve has been a waste of time.
I'm so glad I found this as now I faith in myself and my work again.
If you have the time I'd really like to chat as you seem a genuinely amazing person.
