Hi, I'm Ben. I write a blog called Teen Lawn Care, and I would like to explain the simple process of piecing together your own teen lawn service.
Preliminary First of all, the most important thing is to make sure you have a working lawn mower. I just borrow my dad's gas one, and hopefully your parents will let you do the same. If not, you may have to buy one. Don't worry, it is a great investment. Depending on how many lawns you take on, lawn mowing can be a very lucrative business, and you can make your cash back pretty quickly. A weed eater can be very helpful too, but it isn't completely necessary. The other thing you should do is talk to your parents, just to make sure they are cool with it. You know, that sort of thing. Tell People You Are Open for Business Next, you will need to inform you neighborhood about your new lawn mowing business. This isn't too hard hard-- flyers and word of mouth work great. After advertising, the calls should just come rolling in. What do you know? Now you have your own teen lawn mowing business. To find out more, just check out my website: http://www.teenlawncare.com Have fun! |

personally, I feel that if you cannot be lent a mower, you should RENT one. As I am not entirely sure enough lawns could be mown for a large return otherwise, as well as depending on where you live, lawn mowing is pretty seasonal.

I was going to have a lawn business but I don't think it would work since there is already probably 100+ adults doing it in my area and they have professional equipment. I did however land a job with a realtor doing it for them before one summer .

The idea of a Teen Lawn Mowing Business sounds good. But then again, it would depend where you live really. As you know, newer houses have small backyards and front yards. So, I reckon it would depends where you live. But really, where I live, it would be a great idea. I think I should follow through with this as I could do with the extra bit of money.

Hey Ben! Remember me? I ran YouthBusinessBlog, and then subsequently started a lawn care/landscaping business. How's life?
