This is a very interesting article about what the next bubble is. Good thing all you guys are doing something entrepreneurial:
Peter Thiel: We’re in a Bubble and It’s Not the Internet. It’s Higher Education. |

Interesting article.
I'm pretty thankful that the year I'm going to university my fees are going to be minimal compared to those going next year. Education is valuable, for some people, but the previous Labour government had a target for 50% of people to be going to university which is ridiculous! Actually, this all links in with a social enterprise project I have planned for after university ![]() |

That was a great article. Peter Thiel is right about the education bubble. Too many people believe that having an education will secure them for the future, but it doesn't seem to be true.
On the other hand, I'm predicting that more and more people will begin to rely on the government which will give them more power, just like the story with Joseph in the bible, if any of you know. I've been recently been reading a good book called "The Coming Economic Armageddon" by Dr. David Jeremiah

In the UK we have the problem of people going to university and studying nonsense like Surf-Studies or David-Beckhamology, on the basis that they want to drink there.
It isn't surprising they're taking surfing, or else they'd have been bright enough to work out that they could have spent £20k on the drinks rather than a hopeless course!

Great article!
I agree that too many people are depending on eduacation to get them a good job later on!! For me eduacation is just giving me the skills to manage my future business better!! although i would love to go to an ivy league school , it would be because it would give me the chances to meet the right people to bring my business to a new level!!! But there is always more than one ways to get something done!! |

But it has become a trend or specifically a mentality that you don't get good job if you don't have good education. It is must for a bright future and thus its forcing students to work hard and institutes are taking advantage by increasing the fees as competition is increasing. Today education give you skills but also good job...
