Article Writing Contest
Most Popular Award: $50 ($75 if I get 10+ entries, $100 if I get 20+, $150 for 30+, $200 for 40+)
Most Creative: One year of free hosting, any of Surmounted.NET's shared hosting plans + ad placement on ParkourX.com to help you launch and drive traffic to your website.

Rules:

• Must be a member with 10+ posts. Click Here to register.
• Article must be unique, written by you.
• Article must be at least 400+ words.
• Must contain correct spelling and proper grammar. Entries will not be accepted if they are not.
• Deadline for submission is June 13 at 11:59PM EST. So you have about a week.
• Email your submission to liuj@innogelabs.com. Make sure include your TBF name so I know who it's from.
• Articles will be published between June 13-June 16.
• All articles submitted will belong to TBF, you may not post it anywhere else without permissions.
• Articles will be checked using Copyspace for plagiarism

Most Popular Award
This award will be judged based on the number of points your article gets. You can Digg, Facebook Like, Retweet or Buzz your articles once they are published using the side bookmarking tool on the TBF blog page. I'm going to already assumed each writer will do that. But impress us all with how many times you can get others to Digg, Like, Retweet, or Buzz your articles.



Scoring:
Diggs: 5 points
Facebook Likes: 2 points
Buzz: 2 points
Retweets: 1 point

Duplicate will only be counted once so there's no point in retweeting your article more than once.

Most Creative Award
This award will be judged by three people- myself, TBF coach, and a highschool teacher that I know. Some of you are teens while others are a little older so I thought I get a panel of diversified judges. I'm really setting the bar high because I know you guys and you all have really high potential as entrepreneurs. And we know, entrepreneurs need to be creative to succeed. Judging for this award will begin once all the articles have been submitted.

The two awards cannot be won by the same person, sorry


Writing Your Article
I would like you to write about entrepreneurship or business as that's what this forum is about . But you aren't limited to that. If you want to write about politics, go right ahead but try to link it back to business in some way. If you want some ideas for articles, I'll help you out. I have posted a few attachments. One is the format of the article that I like. The other is a list of keywords to use for your article. Use the keyword once in the title and at least once in the body of the article. Don't try to stuff the keyword. The third attachment helps you with coming with ideas. They contain titles like...

• The Three Main Ingredients Used in the Manufacture of <keyword>
• <keyword> - A Mans Perspective
• <keyword> - A Womans Perspective

Also, write about how some aspect of business has in common with something else. The next TBF blog post will be on "How Successful Entrepreneurs Are Like The Popular Kids In School". I'm relating business with high school/college. It makes for good reads.

Some Suggestions
This contest is really to help you get better in writing- all entrepreneurs need to. Use the resources available to you. Show your teachers or professors your article and get their feedback on it. Have them look it over for spelling/grammar. Talking to your teachers and professors will also help you develop a relationship with them and you can get their help in the future. Teachers and professors love to see their students do things that are great. And trying to improve your own writing IS great. That's my encouragement to all of you. Don't worry about the word count. Write your article and finish your thoughts/points. Once you done that, you will be well over the word count.

The award for Most Popular can get really high. If you know people who want to win some money... well there you go. And with school not being in session, this is a really good opportunity to tell your friends about TBF. TBF will only grow bigger and better from here so why not tell them about it now and tell them about the contest.
