I watched the whole thing, just amazing. I recommend any one to watch and I believe ISPs should push connection speeds forward (1Gb/s) to enable innovations such as High-Definition online digital learning, imagine you're studying right from your computer, watching the professor speech with other thousands of students online, and you can access any session any time you want, now wouldn't that be just genius?

This is why I wish I never went to college. I found that I would have my own house, car, and live on my own right now, if I never went to college. I would be in the exact same spot (work wise) as I am now. Also with all this money, it goes up as you don't always pay things on time.
So, is college worth it, only if you are going for free. Posted from an Android 70 256GB Internet Tablet running Android.

I think the problem is, American University is too expensive, and I don't think the additional price can be particularly justified, considering Cambridge & Oxford compete adequately with Harvard & Princeton in terms of world league ladders, with fees of around £30,000-ish across a course (inc. books & living and such).
£30,000 is a viable investment. Invest £30,000 across 3 years - to earn around £20,000 p/a minimum from there on (up to £50,000 to begin with), it is obvious in the long term that is better than being fixed on £12,000 (even if you have 3 or 4 more years of the £12,000). On the other hand, $100,000 costs make it a much more complicated issue.

I knew somebody who was offered a scholarship to Stanford for medicine and overall it was still about $120k across the many years, minus the discount, so I was assuming a figure on generic courses at Harvard.
