Default Headed Off to "Real" College
I've gotten my AA (Associative Arts) at a local community college and am moving into the big leagues. This summer I'm taking my last necessary class, which I think will be a joke (Business Comm) and then heading off to university! I've lived at home my whole life and now I'm heading out to make a path for myself.

Any tips on keeping a level head, or starting out on your own? I'm not gonna lie, I'm kinda nervous about the whole concept. Anything to ease the tension?

OK, so are you worried about moving away from home or about going to University. Everybody get's nervous about change, you've just got to go into it with confidence, and the knowledge that you're doing what's best. I'm sure you'll have the time of your life in Uni, just try enjoy.

Ah, so you're an "artsy" guy. I honestly wish I was more artistic. I (kinda) know what I want to create in my head, but I can never get it out on paper. Well good luck to you!

I found that a great way to meet people was to join a bunch of clubs. I joined 6 or so freshman year and quickly met new people with similar interests.

Girls are also a great distractor.

Once you get involved, you'll love it.
