The protests in the UK only have a small minority of people that the problem relates to. The majority go to get on TV or to vandalise as they think it is "cool" and they have an excuse. The students that stay at home that the "problem" effects are the students that are actually uni potentials and would be successful as they understand that it's not really a problem.
The whole protesting is unnecessary if these so called "uni" students could read and understand the new point. |

Sure, alot of people aren't taking it seriously, but some students are doing the right thing with alternatives to violent protesting.
But really, who want's to end up with about £40,000 debt when they graduate from university? And it's not just about that, people were protesting because of funding cuts for universities and cuts to teaching budgets too. |

It's nothing really to do with the uni you may or not go to, it's linked to the poor enconomy in the UK. In England, students are facing £9000 tutition fees per year for uni.
Thankfully for me in Scotland, it's free for Scottish students who go to Scottish uni's. |

Generally, no. Some people do get to go to a university in a far away country like the US but it's a small number I would believe.
I was in Disney World in Florida, and I was taking part in a show and one of the assistants came from the UK who had a scholarship for a US school there and she got that job for her time there, pretty awesome. Also, each there there is around 1300 students in my high school. Recently I think there's only been one who left and will be studying in a foreign country. A guy in my class got a golf scholarship in the US. |

I imagine if someone had the chance to go to school in the US they would love to take it, but I think most people would struggle with the money to go and live there.
But ontop of that, there isn't much emphasis on studying completely abroad. This is my last year at high school so I just went through the process of applying to university, not once have I heard teachers or anyone mention going to another country. |
