I've been too busy with doing other stuff next to taking classes and doing my assignments properly. Resulting in stress and not my best (but good enough) results.
So this year I intend to totally focus on school to make it easier for myself and then be busy with business when I feel like and when I've got time of course. The good part is that if you're in the right classes, it could help your business and the other way around! (in my case it does) |

Well, I currently work one full time job (35 hours a week). On my two days off, and some afternoons after my first job I work a second.
And I run Surmounted.NET still, and am only working so hard to help fuel growth of Surmounted.NET, and to keep ahead of the bills ![]() So, I think you can handle taking classes and being present in the development of your own company. Good luck.

@Corey,
I didn't do that during college but I had all the free time to. Looking back, heck yeah I should have started a business and I definitely would have learned to balance the both. But for you, aren't you majoring in business or finance which will make it easier because everything you learn you can apply? |

Majoring in business really helps - less work than engineering or design
![]() Next semester I'll have 5 classes, be an RA, work 9 hours a week at another job, and still run both my blog and my web design company. Thank God for Google Calendar and Toodledo.

I'm still a high school student and currently, studying in a somewhat call special school in my country with 16+ subjects..duh...Can you imagine that? =.=....Beside that, none of the subjects are related to any sort of business(I think geography covered a tiny bit about that). Yes, it is my fault for entering this high school because at that time, I just knew a little about the world around me and I thought the more subject I take the more genius I'am. (very immature thinking)
Balancing the 16 subjects with business is pain. Luckily, this year is my last year of attending high school. If I've success in business before entering college, I would choose to drop high school or not entering college. Last edited by A.Hafiy; 06-16-2011 at 11:38 AM.. |

Yea I also find it tough, especially when I have to miss a college day for an important delivery. Not long left now though!
