Default Deals or Quality?

Due to the recent economic climate, people are searching for ways to stretch their dollar out as far as possible. With that comes a question that haunts me everytime I take a trip to the store. Should I shop for great deals, or great quality?

Obviously, the great deal can save me a quick buck, however, the quality most likely will be poor, and cause me to take more frequent trips for the same item; on the other hand, the great quality product could cost an arm and a leg, putting a nice Visa sized hole in my pocket, but last me a bit longer.

What do you all think? Bargain and save money, or Quality and save trips?

It really depends what the item is. In the long run you usually spend money buying quality items instead of having to replace the cheap, broken, items you expected to save money on.

In terms of what we do as entrepreneurs I think services are much harder to gauge than products, generally there is a happy medium with products, I never buy the cheapest or the most expensive, I just buy half way in between, usually works haha. I use Fiverr.com a lot and I find that quality can be found for $5, you just have to look at the ratings and it usually works out, if not it is only $5. You can get anything done on Fiverr really.
