Do I need to pay income tax?

Hi, guys. I just wanted to ask you for some help in all this legal business which I'm still not very familiar with.

I'm sixteen and I'd like to try to do some freelance translating, though I doubt I'll ever earn too much - it's bad enough most freelancer websites are for over-18s. Anyway, so I was wondering if I will be obliged to pay income tax and all that? If I'm just a silly teen freelancer? (Although technically I could earn good money like that.)

I don't know anyone here who would be familiar with taxes in Spain. If you think you might start a venture, I would suggest getting a business license in your territory. I know here in the state of Washington they send me information on taxes when I paid for my license.

It depends on your income. Here in Canada the threshold is $10,000 for most online income.

In the UK I think its £10,000 to pay tax, you should be able to find something like this on google.

It depends on exactly what sort of employment you are in (self employed/sole trader, partnership, employee etc.), but generally the Personal Allowance (of which you do not have to pay tax) is £7,475 in the UK.

As far as the question of Income Tax in Spain goes, I'm sorry I can't help. Google should help.

both seem like they should give some answers.
Not sure if these sources are reliable.
As I said only briefly looked on them.
