Further Maths (AS)? - UK

So basically this year I'm doing:

AS Maths
AS Chemistry
AS Physics
AS History
-----------
Next year I was considering doing a further maths (AS) on top; and drop the history; thus it would be:
---------------
A2 Maths
A2 Chemistry
A2 Physics
AS Further Maths
[AS History - bagged]
--------------

The main question is, anybody who did further maths this year (Or ever); how difficult is it? Were you to give it a multiple of difficulty against AS maths, would it be x2,x3,x5,x10?????

Any input would be much appreciated.

Sorry if I'm not much help but I think you would definitely get a lot more answers on thestudentroom.co.uk forum, they're very good at things like this.

I would love to help but unfortunately I'm only in Year 11 so I haven't done any AS Level subjects yet.

I've read through responses to similar on there too xD

I just can't be bothered to sign up for it :P
