Lightbulb How fast do you read?

English is not my first language but I do like it more than my first language(I'm asian). My average speed is 320 words per minute. So here is my question...

How many words can you read per minute?

First of all, you timed yourself to know that? Awesome!
I am pretty sure I am a slow reader (on the rare occasion I read).
But I also have the habit of 'picking up a book and not putting it down'.

I might have to time myself soon, I'm currently reading a
Richard Branson book. Which I am thoroughly enjoying.

I just timed my reading today. Anyway, I heard the book is good for business and I will put that on my next list for reading.

It doesn't matter how fast you read if you don't comprehend everything after. That can greatly change with subject matter as well. I can read a business book quickly, but give me a physics book and my reading rate approaches slug speed if I'm trying to learn from it. Stupid physics.

I'm liking your hatred for physics there, aha. But you are right.
Reading is like business, if you don't have the motivation first, you'll get sick of it. Somebody better quote that in the future (:

I read VERY slow, when I read a page, I want to know what I've read. I could read fast, but what's the point if barely remember a thing 20 pages later....

You got the point there. I do believe there must a solution how to read and able to recall/memorize the point quickly xD.

Currently, seeking for some information about speed reading though. If anyone of you're taking speed reading class, share with us the trick or recommend a book

There is such thing as a speed reading class?
Never heard of such a thing and I disagree with it.
If you read extremely quick, you won't have time
to take it all in and absorb the book. (:

Well, a good speed reading class would include tips on increasing your comprehension rate.

And a side note, changing the font on your posts is really visually annoying. :P
