I'm back!

I'm sure most of you don't even know who I am and those who do didn't notice I hadn't been around BUT after a few weeks of not being around, I'm back!

For those who don't know, a lot has been going on in my life recently so here is a summary of where I am today:

- I'm 17
- Live in the UK
- In my last year of school
- Used to run an online marketing company (mix of consultancy and a business website). This all came to an end on the 25th october because...
- I have a job in London doing SEO!
- I still go to school and I commute (1hr20 by train) 3 times a week when I can get away from school; mainly afternoons

It's been a rollercoaster recently but things seem to be a bit more under control and I'm nearly at a stage where I can start 'living' again!

I'm a mod in the marketing section of these forums so you will probably see me popping up in there the most. I look forward to getting to know some more of you in the future, please do get in touch - twitter is great for this (my link below)!

Curious. Why leave your own company for a job? Most people dream of going the opposite direction.

That's a fair point but my justification for that is that the opportunities I have been presented with far outweigh those I had 'on my own' as it were. For me, it was a no-brainer and a decision I know I will not regret because I have a lot of learning and personal development to do and to do it in an environment of the top people as well as a resourced company where the MD actively involves with me with different aspects of the company and constant opportunities is something I couldn't and wouldn't turn down.

It would all depend on how successful your business was and how much knowledge you had.

However, I live about 30mins train station into London and I love London. If I could work there doing what I enjoyed then I would take it!
