Default Long Battery Life Notebooks

Ive been asked by one of my clients today to provide her with a notebook that has a long battery life. Does anyone have any suggestions. Ive been looking at some of the Sony Vaios that also have an extra battery slot and get around 12 hours. Anyone have any feedback on these? Any suggestions on something better? Ive never really looked into long life battery notebooks so dont really know what is out there.

Also a macbook pro is out of the question, has to be a windows based computer (no im not putting on bootcamp).

Edit: It also needs to be a nice size notebook. Its for the persons child who is taking it to school as he is a special needs child. It needs to be duarable and not bigger then 13". I dont know if they want a 10" netbook but if you know of any long life netbooks then please share and ill let them know.

I actually have an Acer Aspire One 10.1 Netbook and on a full charge it gets about 8.5 hours of battery. I love it! It is a great netbook.

I spoke to her and she doesnt want a 10". 13 or 14" is the right size. Ive been doing some research and the Vaio is looking the best, im even considering buying one myself.

Ive been selling the acer one for a long time and they have been good but unfortunately too small.

She sounds picky..if Mac is out the question (why?!) then the sony vaio is probably the next best thing. There notebooks are nice and portable too.

Its for her son who knows how to use PC's and it would take too long for him to learn how to use an Apple, he has learning difficulty and needs to start using this computer next week. He needs to know how to use it right away.

Look at asus UL series! I have the now old UL30VT with a bigger size battery and it lasts me above 12 hours(only the extra battery). Original battery gives me maybe 6-8h.
