I have been signed up to mystery shopping companies for a few years but i havent done any jobs for a while. We get mystery shopped at work and i found out what company we get done by so i have just submitted an application to become a mystery shopper for this company. So i will see when a mystery shop is being done and if i really want to if im offered the job i can take on a mystery shop of my own shop and give results. Is this wrong or would you do the same in my situation?
We generally get a pretty good result anyway and are ranked 10th nationally (out of 214 stores) for the last 6 months so its not like we really need it but i think its a good idea to get a heads up on what we will be getting mystery shopped on. They used to let us know what product it will be but now they dont.

I don't think you will be allowed to mystery shop the place you work for. There would be bias involved. Plus the company that hires people who mystery shop in your store should not have told you which product will be used in the survey. That's the whole idea. It's a mystery! ^AM |
