So I was talking to my Dad about how I want my roommate arrested for illegal drug possession (so she'll stop doing that in the apartment like we talked about). He then made me watch this video:
"Don't Talk to the Police" by Professor James Duane Edit: Found the second part with a statement by the police officer. http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...22229458915912 It's an interesting piece about the 5th amendment. Also I'm just going to ignore my roommate's existence (and therefore drug use) after being assured by my landlord, the guy who drew up my lease, and the local police department that nothing can be done unless I want to sit around and wait to snap a picture of her getting high. (I have other things to do with my life). Last edited by CoreyFreeman; 01-31-2012 at 10:56 PM.. |

It depends on what drug they are taking, but to be honest going to the police will be a long process. Let your room mate know you have a problem with it and hopefully they will get the picture not to do it in front of you, or in the same building as you. "What you don't see wont hurt you."

I'm not going to sum it up because, unfortunately, I'm not as eloquent as a former criminal defense attorney or a police detective. Watch the video or don't. It's interesting.
@ReX I have talked to her about it. Three times. She basically threw a temper tantrum at me. I don't have time to battle with entitled children who want to cry when they don't get their way, so... |
