I'd like to hear some success stories from the community. It might not be "success" itself but you can share your story on how you started or how you had it all. You can also share your plans or success in the making.

I have a story of how I finally got into an entrepreneurship coaching class. I had to try twice. I finally talked with the director the other day. She said I was the perfect example of an applicant that they wanted- someone who listened to the selection committee and came back twice as qualified.

Bravo for Jack's story. I personally think, just like trying to study something technical, it's good to have coaches and pros who you can converse with. Although formal education is much more expensive than self studying, being around a group of people who share the same passion as yours is very helpful. And having somebody to whom you can address your concerns regarding trends within your industry is very important. It's better to be trained by a Master if you want to learn Kung Fu than purchase those videos and books.
