@bond, why do you think so. What wikileaks has done is touched the tip of the iceberg on what's really behind the scenes of our governments. It has put out to the public what the president would NeVeR put in his state of the nation address.

He hasn't put anybody at danger really, it is mainly a massive smear campaign. In all honesty, if they shut it down, that is putting us at the level of North Korea in political freedom, it's bad enough they wasted time taking him to court over something which was inevitably going to fail, and waste money, to begin with.

Because they have so much public exposure at the moment, it WON'T go down. Last time I checked they had over 500 mirror sites! They sent out an encyrpted file of all their archived documents to their supporters, if they go down, the password will be sent and we'll all see it.

A founder of Wikileaks has started/is starting another site too, OpenLeaks.

Being a part of the Pirate Party here in sweden and the facts that we host some of wikileaks servers and are responsible for a lot of the mirrors, i would go for NO!

What Wikilieaks are doing is shedding light on often pretty rotten government stuff. Like here(Sweden) they uncovered how we(Pirate Party) was correct in our claims of illegal corporation with the US government.
And having embassy documents to back up your claims is a wonderful thing after years of being called a conspiracy theorist.

So personally i love what Wikileaks has done.
