Default Teen Musicians

Hey,
Who are some up and coming teen musicians that aren't mainstream yet? Obviously, there's Justin Bieber but he's too mainstream already. Who are ones that are up and coming?

I'm a punk rocker, there aren't any teen sensations because the genre has been dying.

There's a strong local music scene where I live. This band I like aren't the biggest but I believe they are probally the best. Most others have poor recordings of their songs, or generally their songs are poor. These guys are around 17, and do gigs quite regularly. I'm partnering with them to launch my business this year.

Check this song out - Invisible | The Celestians

Not quite the right material for a label to make them popular like Justin Bieber, but they are brilliant.

The music industry is becoming far more "long tail", less about the big hits, but more about hits within little niches, locations and within fanbases. There's a handful of bands at my school who range from 'quite awesome' to 'tepid'

I did a page on this a few months back: Become a Recording Artist | Your Teen Business

I give Justin Bieber another 5 years max before we see him working in the likes of tesco's. The child's only like 16 and he already has books and a movie, that's basically a home video being shown in a cinema from what I've been told.

Teen's should wait till they finish school, etc.. before going into the music industry. Less holding them down really imo.
