Default Another newbie!
Hi everyone,

My name is Thomas Frank and I am just barely a teen entrepreneur (I'll be 20 in less than a month). I've been running a web design business since I was 17 and now I run the blog College Info Geek, a site that helps college students succeed. I've been blogging for almost a year and I love it! This summer I'm working on channeling the expertise I've gained through blogging into creating a book for college students. I plan to have most of the writing done by the end of summer.

Even though I'll no longer be a teen soon, I'll definitely frequent this forum! Young entrepreneurs are the future, and I will definitely enjoy getting to know all of you!

Wow, that's a pretty sleazy way to get your 10 posts so you can post spam links!

bond - I'm going to be writing the main portion of the content this summer. The book will be loosely based off of the "traditions book" format that some universities have - that is, it will have a topic, go over the topic, and then give the reader a space to record his/her own experiences. The topics in the book will all relate to succeeding in college/differentiating yourself as a job candidate. After reading and using the book, students will have an interview playbook they can use to prepare for questions.

To be honest, I started my own site because I got turned down when I applied to be a writer at HackCollege. I'm really glad I ended up starting my own blog, as I've learned more about the whole blogging/site ownership game than I ever would have simply writing for another blog. Plus, I've gotten to know most of the people at that blog anyway since our content is similar.
