Hi, My name is Drew Shamburg. I am a 15 year old male from Salina, Kansas. I consider myself a young entrepreneur and businessman that has successfully started small businesses in the past.
As a young entrepreneur I like to come up with small and large business ideas. Fun for me is sitting around on a computer or reading a book trying to figure out where the next market is going to be and how to get the most out of it. I think it is very intriguing to be apart of the products and services, not only pay for them. Most of my hobbies include reading, browsing the web for new ideas, managing money, starting business ventures, and riding my horse Apache. Some of my businesses have include a pony party service where we supplied ponies and horses to birthdays and events, helped start a horse training and boarding service with family and friends, and at the moment I am working on and e-commerce website. You can probably tell I do enjoy my horses and based part of my ideas around them at one time. I think it can get quite lonely doing the research and having the fun all alone. I am looking for others to share information with and they share back. We could help each other start businesses and be there when they needed confidence or support. This could really be helpful to us and it does not just have to be one person, I am willing to meet as many as possible to share our knowledge and talents. You can be close or you can be across the world, it doesn't matter to me. Now come on, lets get our brains together and start working to accomplish the, thought to be unattainable. Comment or send me a message! We can get each others contact information or just message back and forth on here. Thanks and sorry for the long biography! Best regards, Drew Shamburg |

Hey Drew,
Welcome to TBF! Nice, someone from Kansas! Do you remember how you got started in business? Yes we are all about sharing what we know and hopefully by doing so, we can all make some good contacts for the future. That is what it's all about. Build your network now and it'll be invaluable in 5-10 years. We do have a Skype contact list and it's in this thread http://www.teenbusinessforum.com/for...list-4762.html so feel free to leave yours there or contact others. Paul and mine are also on that list so feel free to reach out to us with any questions you may have. |

Yes, I do remember how I got started. My first investment to the business was buying the horses and ponies I needed to get it running. I literally spent thousands to get it going. I remember the thing that kept me going during rough times of the business was the part that I love horses dearly and even if it did fail, I still had the horses which were a fun hobby overall. I felt it being a hobby before, led me to being in business with it because its what I loved to do. I would research the market all day long and find where I could make the most money, how to make the most money, what techniques to use, anything and everything that had to do with the business. I would also write EVERY SINGLE THING DOWN. I think recording it all is the most important thing because we can go back during times of trouble and renew ourselves.
I will be sure to add myself to the contact list. If there are anymore questions, also feel free to ask. Thanks! -Drew Shamburg |

Drew, that sounds awesome. You're like the Gary Vaynerchuk of horses. Look him up if you don't know what I mean. He's super passionate about wine just like you are super passionate about horses.
What does the future look for you? |

I will look him up right away and probably be reading about him all night! I love to learn how other peoples lives work, I think it can create combinations for us and let us prosper from them.
Sorry about the late responses also. I have a side job also, so when I'm not doing homework or learning, I'm working. I do think the future looks good for me, not necessarily with horses, but whatever has to do with business is for me because I'm passionate about starting a business sometime in my life. I could see myself definitely starting my own business one day again. Now that I live in a city it is hard to do something with horses. In my opinion, I think I'm looking for the perfect niche first. How do you think your future looks? Would you tell me more about yourself? |
