Hi!
My name is Sofia and, to be honest, I'm quite new to entrepreneurship, although I did study Business Studies for GCSE, therefore I have a basis in this sphere. I started off by finding Fiverr, which has inspired me to do something much more creative and advanced, and finding this website has clamped open my eyes and made me realise there is so much you can do as a teenager to build up your CV in the future and meanwhile earn some good money. I see this as an interesting new way to alter my life. So far, I have done a lot of freelance translation, as I am a linguist and speak four languages fluently. In the future, however, I plan to create an online shopping website, though this all needs to be planned and every little bit considered. Thus for now, I will merely be an observer here and LEARN, LEARN, LEARN. Good day to you all! ![]() |

Thank you, Jack.
As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be able to trace back now to how I found you. I think I was trying to find something related to making money online, and then I found a link to a discussion, and I saw that this was a forum for young entrepreneurs, which is so inspiring.I'm actually Russian. I speak Russian, Spanish and English absolutely fluently, Russian being my native language and me having spent 11 years out of my sixteen in Spain studying in a British school. And I also speak French on an intermediate level. I don't think you need to do anything specific to help me right now. I'll just help myself by learning from what I read in the discussions. Thank you for the warm welcome. |

Hey Sophia, welcome to TBF. I think that in business studies you learn a lot about the theory, yet here you gain the knowledge on the practical, creative side. Entrepreneurship is probably one of the greatest things you can introduce to your life. Welcome!

Yes, it's quite an advantage! I have just started freelance translator services thanks to my knowledge of the four languages, so it's bringing me income already although I've only just turned sixteen, therefore I have only just gained my right to legally work in Spain.

Well, as I said, I am Russian, though I moved to Spain with my family when I was six. My father really wanted me to obtain a British education, so he tried to teach me English since I was about three, but I only really began to grasp it when I was put in an English school here. Now, I feel more like English is my native language. Despite the primary language I use when I speak with my family being Russian, I still find English the language through which I am able to conceive and convey my ideas most effectively. Therefore right now I feel more British than Russian. :P
Spanish was taught to me in school and through general conversation, since it isn't easy to get by in Spain without the knowledge of some Spanish. I picked it up very quickly, to everyone's surprise, and to mine, too, because I don't particularly like the language. And French is also taught in school. I'd like to be able to speak it fluently; it is a language that has fascinated me since I fist started to learn it. |
