Hey guys, my name is Lucas, and, as many of you, I'm an entrepreneur.
I run Teen Game, the most successful teenage social dynamics coaching company in the world. Basically, I help teenagers with their social lives. I've coached over 300 people in 6 continents - all in the past year. I'm really looking forward to working with, and learning from, you all on here! -Lucas Last edited by Lucas C; 07-24-2011 at 02:33 AM.. |

Thanks for the warm welcome!
Well, social dynamics is the study of how people interact - it's pretty much applied social psychology. Most people think that you're either social or you're not, and that there's nothing they can do about it if they fall under the latter category. I show them otherwise by breaking down social interaction into a logical and predictable series of events. People tend to forget that humans are extremely old biological machines with programmed responses. So, I help people get the most out of their teenage years (and the rest of their lives). |

Thanks for more warm welcomes!
Well, at first I just gave social advice to friends and people on forums. But after a while it got to a point where the demand was too great for me to be giving it casually, and I wanted to let teens around the world know that they're not alone. I started to company about 2 years ago, made the website a year and a half ago on my own, then started "The Community" almost a year ago. I got about 4K hits a month before I launched the Community, then about 250K a month since. The URL is teen-game.com. The site looks pretty bad right now, but I'm launching a new, MUCH better website on the 31st (one year anniversary of the Community) That's also when I'm releasing my book, The Teen Game Manifesto. I found you guys through a few friend of mine that mentioned you passively in conversation a while back. I've recently been reading and searching for marketing and publicity tactics, so I thought I'd see what you guys know! haha Thanks, Lucas |

Hey Lucas,
I'm new here as well, but your company sounds very interesting. I apply social psychology in the dealings with my entertainment management company, by measuring people, their words and choosing appropriate responses that they want to hear but will likewise get my point across and benefit me. With such tactics, I've had 9 employees working for no charge, numerous partnerships when I had JUST started, and 6 clients all by myself. I've also cut successful deals with minimal time spent going over contracts simply because the clients, their representatives, and all parties involved trusted me so much simply because how I carry myself and talk. It's a wonder what social psychology is capable of. |
