New to Forums, read if interested in stocks.

Hello, my name is Allen and I have just joined the teen businessforums. I am looking to find other persons who are interested in investing in the Stock Market. I started my portfolio in the year of 2007, and have been researching stocks since then. One thing that I learned about investing in stocks is you must do your research. The first few trades that I had done were very lucky, and I just happened to be fortunate enough to choose rising stocks with very little research and I was able to buy low and sell high to gain some profit. After 4 years of watching my money rise up high, and soar down low, I realize that the stock market is a gamble. Yet, it is a gamble based on factual information. The best way to expand my portfolio is researching, and also with the help and advice of others. I am interested in discussing stocks and research about stocks with others that are around my age (17) and that have had a decent amount of experience within the stock market. Though I have not been very active within my own portfolio in the past year or so , I have decided to become intensely involved in the Market and my number one goal is to make as much money as possible. I'm new here too. I got interested in stocks and investment management in seventh grade, and have picked up a lot of strategy. My areas are in energy and resources (metals, food).
