Hi Everyone,

My name is Shane Gottada. I am 17 years old and the CEO of Gottada Group (www[dot]gottadagroup[dot]com) & the President of Global Needs International (www[dot]gnfortomorrow[dot]org) I am now looking into starting a web-based startup - I'm in search for Venture Capital at the moment.

What first got you interested in business?

When I was growing up in Canada, I was really addicted to a card game called "Yu-Gi-Oh", and I didn't have much allowance. So, I started trading cards with different people - identifying who wants what. And I was able to grow out of 40 cards that dad bought me to around 1500 cards with around 100 "rares".

Since then, as they say, it's history.

It's actually for a new venture. I'm looking for a seed round of around $2 million USD. I'm in Virginia right now, once my CFO finishes the financial draft, looking to approach some VCs and Angels.

Well, I started an NGO, Global Needs International, to help others - being a socialist. But the world runs on money, and I have a certain passion towards business - being a capitalist.

Awesome to have someone from India be part of TBF! Great to hear some of the things you have already accomplished. And hard to believe you're only 17. Did you say you're in Virginia? How long will you be here? I'm also based out in VA. I don't particularly have any experience raising capital.

Are there specific VCs that you're looking for- ones that know a particular industry?

Hi Bond, thanks! I'm in Fairfax County right now, my parents and brother live here. I'll be here for another two weeks. It would be great to get some VCs who are acquainted with the Information Technology industry, as they will be able to understand the full extent of my new startup.
