How To Get Over Shyness As An Entrepreneur

I’ll never forget this. A young girl walks up to the mic at a conference and asks what steps she can take to become like the speakers on stage. In essence, she was asking the question of how do I become successful and confident. What an awesome question. The answer was even better.
(Anyone who dresses up like this to wear in public —————–>
has definitely gotten over their shyness.)Isn’t that a question we all want to ask but are too afraid to ask? I’ll be the first to admit it. Hell yeah that’s on my mind. How do we become successful? The answer to the question was almost as good if not better than the question. The answer was “You already taken the first step, let’s all give her a round of applause”. And it’s true! That girl deserves to be applauded for having the guts to ask a question like that (If you were that person at the conference, let me know).
The first step to becoming successful, being confident, overcoming shyness is to just ask. By asking, that’s already getting our of our comfort zones because we admit that we don’t know it all.
For most of us, getting our of our comfort zones means getting in front of people and speaking. Easiest way to get uncomfortable? Get in front of room full of people and ask a question. If has the same feeling but with less duration. Do that once or twice and you’ll be ready to present in front of a crowd.
By the way, I don’t know of any successful entrepreneurs who are shy. Do you?
